College Park homeowners come to us for shower remodeling — we cover the whole of Prince George's County and the neighboring communities.

We also cover Greenbelt, Riverdale Park and Hyattsville, so if you are just outside College Park it is worth asking.

Shower Remodeling and College Park homes

Shower failures in College Park follow the age of the housing. University-adjacent rentals and mid-century capes; landlord-driven durable-finish demand. Where a surround was tiled straight onto board with no membrane behind it — standard practice for decades — the grout is the symptom and the substrate is the problem.

How the job runs

We measure the opening in person before quoting, because the difference between a unit that fits and one that is shimmed into place is the difference between a bathroom that lasts and one that leaks. You get a written price from that visit.

On the day, the old wet area comes out, we show you the condition of the substrate before anything is covered up, and the new installation goes in over proper waterproofing. We clear the debris and leave the room usable.

Common questions

College Park bathroom remodeling FAQs

How much does shower remodeling cost in College Park?
We do not publish a price, because the honest answer depends on your opening, what is behind the wall and what you choose to put in. What we can promise is a written, itemized figure after an in-home measure — not a range designed to get us in the door and revised upward later.
Do you serve all of Prince George's County?
Yes, along with the neighboring communities. We also cover Greenbelt, Riverdale Park and Hyattsville, so if you are just outside College Park it is worth asking. If you are unsure, call 571-751-7598 and we will tell you straight away rather than booking a visit we cannot honor.
What areas does Clear Day Bath Solutions cover for remodeling projects?
We serve Northern Virginia, Maryland and the greater DC metro from our base in Woodbridge, VA. That includes Prince William, Fairfax, Stafford, Fauquier, Loudoun and King George counties in Virginia, and Frederick, Washington, Howard, Anne Arundel, Montgomery, Prince George's and Charles counties in Maryland. If you are not sure whether you are inside our radius, call us and we will tell you straight away rather than sending someone on a wasted trip.
How does a tub-to-shower conversion benefit my home's value and safety?
Stepping over a 15-inch tub wall is the single most common way people get hurt in a bathroom. Replacing that tub with a low-threshold or barrier-free shower removes the obstacle entirely, and adding grab bars and a seat makes the space usable for decades rather than years. On the resale side, a dated tub in a hall bath reads as deferred maintenance to buyers, while a clean modern shower reads as a bathroom they will not have to touch.
What exactly is included in your custom wet-area remodeling?
The wet area is everything water touches: the tub or shower base, the surround walls, the valve and fixtures, the door or curtain rod, and the waterproofing behind all of it. A custom job means the base and surround are sized to your actual opening rather than forcing a stock unit into a space it does not fit. We handle demolition, disposal, installation and cleanup, and we leave the room usable when we go.
What are your hours, and how do I schedule a consultation?
We are reachable Monday through Friday 8am to 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm. Call 571-751-7598 or send the quote form on any page. A consultation is an in-home visit where we measure the space, look at the existing plumbing and give you a written price. There is no charge and no obligation to book work.
